Once again, I appreciate this DK Yoo Dijon training session.
I participated in the 3 stages at Dijon. It’s for me the way to make a connection between the outer and inner Martial Art.
DK Yoo is the single man who explain with demonstrations and exercises this connection.
We have a lot of work to do!

나는 오랫동안 한국에서 깨달음을 얻고자 요가를 수행하고 있었다. 그리고 우연치 않게 DK YOO의 글을 보았고 그의 무술보다는 그의 생각 / 철학 / 이치 이것들을 보고 그는 깨달은 자라고 옛날부터 생각하고 있었다.
내가 부족한 것은 초연한 마음을 어떻게 유지하는게 제일 궁금하였다. 그리고 DK YOO의 명상 가르침은 간단하면서 최고의 가르침이었다. 그리고 내 삶이 변하기 시작하였다. 그를 만난 그 세미나에서부터 내 삶은 바뀌기 시작하였다.
이것을 보고 그는 어느 분야에서든 최고의 교육자 겸 스승이 될 수 있는 사람이며, 그가 한국인이라는 것에 경외감를 가집니다. 그리고 한국에서 그를 알아보지 못하는 것을 보면 한국인으로서 안타까움이 느껴집니다.
그를 시기하는 사람도 있지만, 그는 깨달은 자이며 동시에 돈오와 점수를 행하며 그의 삶 자체가 이미 여러 사람에게 영향력을 미치며 좋은 카르마를 짓고 있다. 그리고 나는 내 마음 속의 스승으로 모시고 있다.
그를 옛날부터 만난 사람처럼 단 몇시간의 시간으로도 나는 충분했다.
나는 서울 세미나를 처음 참석했다. 교육 과정은 ‘요가스타 구르 카르마니’의 원리, 호흡을 통한 전신이완, 어떻게 걸을 것인가?, 골반 축을 기준으로 전신을 이동하는 원리, 전신의 에너지를 팔로 사용하는 원리, 몽골명상 등이다. 동 과정은 그 동안 내가 수련하는 운동에 대한 다양한 의문점을 해결하는 계기가 되었다.
물론 온라인 교육을 통해서 배울 수도 있고, DK.YOO 블로그 동영상을 통해서도 어느 정도 이해할 수도 있다. 그렇지만 현장에서 직접 몸으로 시연하는 모습을 보고 그 원리를 우리말로 설명 듣는다는 것은 분명히 또 다른 차원이었다.
특히 DK YOO님께서 시범을 보여줄 때, 『순간적으로 몸을 강하게 움직이면서 건물 바닥을 파고 들어가는 것 같은 강렬한 진동』 을 발생시켰는데, 나는 이 진동을 느낄 때 마다 『마음속으로 ‘이런 걸 언제 경험해!’ 라며, ‘교육 참여하기를 정말 잘 했다’』라고 여러 번 생각했다.
이번 세미나를 개인적으로 이렇게 정의하고 싶다. 『생활체육, 엘리트 체육, 전통무술 등 어떤 운동이건 처음 시작할 때 ‘우리의 몸을 어떻게 만들어야 하고, 또한 정신 수양은 어떻게 할 것인가?’ 에 대한 ‘내 자신과의 질의·응답’이었다.』 라고…

먼저 서울세미나 개최해주신 모든 wcs협회분들께 크나큰 감사말씀 전해드리고싶습니다. 큰 도움이 되었습니다! 정말 좋은 시간이었습니다^^
유대경 선생님께서 메일을 직접 보신다면 꼭 전해드리고싶은 말씀이 있습니다.. 개인적으로 고등학생때부터 유대경선생님 블로그 글들을 봐오면서 큰 도움을 얻고있습니다. 그 후로 꼭 뵙고싶었는데, 오늘 직접 뵙게되어 큰 영광이었습니다. 무술에서 뿐만이 아니라 세상을 보는 시야를 넓혀주셨습니다.인생에서 멘토를 5인 이상 두고 살면 좋다고 들었습니다. 그래서 다양한 멘토들을 찾아가는 과정에 있습니다. 그 중에서 제가 가장 존경하고 좋아하는 멘토가 유대경 선생님이십니다. 지금도 앞으로도 그럴 거에요^^ 세미나때는 쑥쓰러워서 말씀 못드렸네요.

YouTubeで意拳やジークンドーの動画を見るのが好きなので、マスターDK YOOの動画に巡り会いました。
マスターYOOの動きがあまりに美しいので今回セミナーに参加しました。動きは少しずつ鍛錬していくしかありません。しかし海の底のような心の状態とOpenness, Honesty, Humilityをキープすることはすぐに取り組めます。マスターYOOありがとう。また次回東京でお会いできますように。I like to watch YouTube videos about “Yi quan”, “Jeet Kune Do” etc. And I encountered master DK YOO’s videos.
I participated in this seminar because I was quite impressed with your beautiful movements. It takes time for me to master all the movements I learned. But I can try to keep having “the state of the heart like the bottom in a sea”,”Openness”,”Honesty”and “Humility” immediately.

私は普段はエクササイズのトレーナーの仕事をしています。そして、プライベートでは、ブルース・リーの身体操作や哲学に惹かれてジークンドーを習い始めた所です。その流れから、YouTube動画でDK YOOさんの存在をしり、東京のセミナーに参加しました。DK YOOさんの武術家という枠に収まりきれない、動きの素晴らしさと、人としての誠実さ、暖かさに感動しました！また、身体活動を通して、人と人が国境を越えて繋がれる事の素晴らしさと可能性を感じました。是非、また参加したいと思っています！
そして、自分を日々向上させる為に、先ずはオンライン講座から始めていこうと思います！また、私の夢はエクササイズトレーナーの仕事を通して、多くの人を幸せにする事なので、DK YOOさんの活動で、何か協力出来る事があれば、喜んで参加したいと思っています！

今回参加できたことはラッキーでありチャンスでした。DKYoo先生は紳士的でありフランクであり言葉の壁を越え、
精神面、身体面、理論的、具体的に丁寧に教えて頂きました。教えて頂いた瞑想は仕事面でも転換でき、まさに「Empty your cup so that it may be filled」!!

일본 세미나 수고하셨습니다! 5년 전부터 유대경 선생님의 유튜브 동영상을 보면서, ‘와- 정말 대단하다’고 생각하면서 줄 곳 봐왔습니다. 그러다 블로그를 보고, 온라인 코스를 등록하면서 내 몸이 조금씩 변해가는 것이 느껴졌습니다. 그러다 일본 세미나 공지가 나와 세미나를 등록했는데요, 이번 일본 세미나에 참석하는데 조금 빡빡하게 스케줄을 짜서 최고의 컨디션으로 세미나에 임하지 못해 많이 아쉽습니다. 평소 영상이나 블로그 글을 몇 번이고 보았지만 실제로 보고 느끼고 직접 해보는 것과 천지 차이라는 것을 느꼈습니다. 실제 앞에서 기술을 보니 힘과 스피드가 장난 아니더라고요ㅎㅎ 돈과 시간이 아깝지 않았습니다. 세미나 이후 몸이 한층 좋아진 것을 느끼고 있습니다. 또한 1년 전쯤 아버지가 사기를 당해 집안이 망해서 육체적으로나 정신적으로 힘들었을 때 필요없는 불안과 두려움을 가지지 않고 결과가 오는 대로 받아들이는 마음과 멈추지 않고 그냥 하는 것이라는 글을 감명 깊게 보았습니다. 앞으로도 건강하시고 더 많은 것들을 배웠으면 합니다. 감사합니다^^

DK YOOさんが学んだ、瞑想そして哲学、習得した格闘技の技術を惜しみなく説明し、だれもがDK YOOさんに近づけるように、指導をする姿はとても素晴らしかったです。セミナーに参加した人しか感じられないと思います。またDK YOOさんが日本にセミナーをする時は参加します。
今回セミナーで学んだことは、自分が変わる第一歩になりました。

今まで私も様々な格闘技をやってきましたが、WCSの様に身体の構造や使い方、精神性などの全てを取り入れたものはありませんでした。
また、格闘技だけではなく、日々の日常でも活用出来るような姿勢や歩き方など、とても勉強になりました。

I’ve been involved in various martial arts over 20 years and still could find a lot of practical and useful information during seminary. Different point of view of well known techniques widen my horizons. If you are open-minded and focused on self development it should be very useful.

I am super happy I could meet and talk with master DK Yoo in real life.
Most stuff that master showed to us, I have already saw on youtube, BUT it is huge difference to see his moves in real life in 3D :P, from different angles etc. The best part is that master will check your moves and forms etc Will tell you what you do wrong, and will answer your detail questions! Master Dk Yoo seems to be very modest, grounded and kind person. You can feel the friendly aura of peace around him :). His whole crew, John, Kay and rest are very helpful and friendly. …. So if you think you already saw everything on YT, you are wrong 😉

It was great pleasure to see Master DK Yoo live. Now I surely know he has really incredible power in his body (and his mind for sure). Additionally, he is a very kind, modest and helpful person who know how to learn others. He was ready to answer the questions for all the time. For me, as a beginner enthusiast of martial arts, it was very helpful that DK Yoo explained many techniques in a understandable way and developed them slowly during the Seminar.
It was so surprising that almost every move is based on the right work (move) of our pelvis. And that focusing on the move of the pelvis gives such a great results: speed, power and flow of the movement.
In the end I only want to say that it was worth to experience what I was only watching on YouTube for the last six months. Thanks a lot!!
DK Yoo’s seminar will create or solidify a foundation of true strength and power. He goes over some unique novel view points on movement and how to generate and amplify the power of your strikes. It is interactive and intellectually stimulating as a active fighter and martial artist for the past 10 years. It was true an honor to train with and meet DK Yoo. Hopefully there is a way for me to train with him again in the future and learn more.
Hi Master DK Yoo & team, Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the workshop in Singapore. I found out about Master Yoo, and WCS via Youtube, so was curious to investigate and see things in real life for myself. Certainly Master DK Yoo’s speed and techniques are very unique, and valuable to anyone interested in martial arts. Very happy I attended the workshop, and I will be practicing how to “relax” so I can improve my speed. I found the meditation very helpful, and felt very relaxed. Even when I came home my wife noticed the difference 🙂

Master DK Yoo is truly a one of a kind. A great humble person, always open to questions and always willing to help. His techniques are truly masterful and along with his power and speed. His philosophies about meditation and extremely deep teachings can and should be incorporated into daily life. Before attending his seminar, I always knew he was fast and powerful, but I could never know to what extent. After asking him to demonstrate a taste of his abilities, in which he agreed to use 30% of his power, my eyes were truly open. 30% of his power felt like getting hit by a car in the chest! To fully understand what Master DK Yoo is capable of, one absolutely must attend his seminars!
Great Seminar! Instructions are clear and we can ask questions at any time. Master Yoo and assistance are friendly and holds nothing back in his teaching. The techniques learning can incorporate into any form of martial arts or self defence systems. It’s the combat system and philosophy. The philosophical part is actually more important.
I highly recommend attending a WCS-event – the staff is friendly, everything is well organized and DK Yoo is just an amazing trainer. For me some of the sections he taught were definitely eye-openers in my own personal martial way.

Master DK Yoo has truly mastered how to teach the art of movement. He taught me how to truly use the ground as the true source of my power, in a way I would never have been able to figure out. My expectations were to learn how to punch and kick but he taught much more than that. Meditation and true focus of the mind in collaboration with the ground forces that are available to us make for a very powerful martial arts experience. Don’t miss out on your chance to transcend beyond what you know.
A true martial artist among men and women. DK YOO has wonderful meditation practices. He understands that you must relax more than anything. Meditation is almost synonymous with food. (For me anyway) You must have your balance. The Tao. Keep one foot in chaos and the other in harmony.
Hi, my name is Florin Gum, I’m from Germany and I attended Dk Yoo’s WCS seminar in April in Cologne.
The seminar was a great experience! I learned a lot about the masters movement and the basics of his material art. Watching Dk Yoo’s speed and energy with my own eyes really motivated me to keep on training! I am happy to use the lessons we learned in my own martial art training. I definitely will go to the next seminar in Poland and I’m looking forward to visit master Yoo one time in his Dojo in South Korea.To everyone who thinks about attending to the next seminar, I can only say:Do it, it’s worth it!
I found the Master DK seminar very interesting. Master DK has developed a very powerful, scientific approach to flow state and kinetics. I would recommend to anyone trying to improve their flow, speed and explosive power!
It was great to attend Master DK Yoo’s NYC seminar. I can testify that after training in Martial Arts basically all of my life there’s always many more things to learn as it is with the journey to living life. The mechanics, meditation and fluid motions it’s like DK Yoo takes the technique and breaks it down to the minute nucleus to fully explain how and why it’s supposed to be executed in that way. And now to see that we’ve got something else in common with music production I’m even more of an admirer . I’m recently coming to the conclusion that many years of practicing music theory gives me an advantage when I spar not having one rhythm but keeping the motions elusive. It was just a natural thing for me but now matching my training with my music theory executing punches and combinations with notes, half notes and etc will be a new interesting path for me.

The Seminar was great. Master DK taught us a lot of body mechanics and how you can move your whole body to make your movements much faster, stronger and even better. Like many people, I discovered Master DK YOO’s prowess by YouTube. Being a martial arts praticioner since several years now, I didn’t want to stay on this one impression, so I decided to participate at the seminar at Dijon (May 2017). Over there, I met a fabulous person, really passionate by martial arts, who understands its meaning and profound philosophy, but especially a man who wants to share his knowledge and experiences with others.
DK YOO is a true Master, in the word’s most noble sense. And, it’s with great pleasure that I go to his seminars as much as possible.

일본 세미나 수고하셨습니다! 5년 전부터 유대경 선생님의 유튜브 동영상을 보면서, ‘와- 정말 대단하다’고 생각하면서 줄 곳 봐왔습니다. 그러다 블로그를 보고, 온라인 코스를 등록하면서 내 몸이 조금씩 변해가는 것이 느껴졌습니다. 그러다 일본 세미나 공지가 나와 세미나를 등록했는데요, 이번 일본 세미나에 참석하는데 조금 빡빡하게 스케줄을 짜서 최고의 컨디션으로 세미나에 임하지 못해 많이 아쉽습니다. 평소 영상이나 블로그 글을 몇 번이고 보았지만 실제로 보고 느끼고 직접 해보는 것과 천지 차이라는 것을 느꼈습니다. 실제 앞에서 기술을 보니 힘과 스피드가 장난 아니더라고요ㅎㅎ 돈과 시간이 아깝지 않았습니다. 세미나 이후 몸이 한층 좋아진 것을 느끼고 있습니다. 또한 1년 전쯤 아버지가 사기를 당해 집안이 망해서 육체적으로나 정신적으로 힘들었을 때 필요없는 불안과 두려움을 가지지 않고 결과가 오는 대로 받아들이는 마음과 멈추지 않고 그냥 하는 것이라는 글을 감명 깊게 보았습니다. 앞으로도 건강하시고 더 많은 것들을 배웠으면 합니다. 감사합니다^^

DK YOOさんが学んだ、瞑想そして哲学、習得した格闘技の技術を惜しみなく説明し、だれもがDK YOOさんに近づけるように、指導をする姿はとても素晴らしかったです。セミナーに参加した人しか感じられないと思います。またDK YOOさんが日本にセミナーをする時は参加します。
今回セミナーで学んだことは、自分が変わる第一歩になりました。

今まで私も様々な格闘技をやってきましたが、WCSの様に身体の構造や使い方、精神性などの全てを取り入れたものはありませんでした。
また、格闘技だけではなく、日々の日常でも活用出来るような姿勢や歩き方など、とても勉強になりました。
早速、明日から行い、日々の中で練習していきたいと思います！

I’ve been involved in various martial arts over 20 years and still could find a lot of practical and useful information during seminary. Different point of view of well known techniques widen my horizons. If you are open-minded and focused on self development it should be very useful.
I’m looking forward for next opportunity to participate in seminary with DK Yoo.

Most stuff that master showed to us, I have already saw on youtube, BUT it is huge difference to see his moves in real life in 3D :P, from different angles etc. The best part is that master will check your moves and forms etc Will tell you what you do wrong, and will answer your detail questions! Master Dk Yoo seems to be very modest, grounded and kind person. You can feel the friendly aura of peace around him :). His whole crew, John, Kay and rest are very helpful and friendly. …. So if you think you already saw everything on YT, you are wrong 😉

It was great pleasure to see Master DK Yoo live. Now I surely know he has really incredible power in his body (and his mind for sure). Additionally, he is a very kind, modest and helpful person who know how to learn others. He was ready to answer the questions for all the time. For me, as a beginner enthusiast of martial arts, it was very helpful that DK Yoo explained many techniques in a understandable way and developed them slowly during the Seminar.
It was so surprising that almost every move is based on the right work (move) of our pelvis. And that focusing on the move of the pelvis gives such a great results: speed, power and flow of the movement.
In the end I only want to say that it was worth to experience what I was only watching on YouTube for the last six months. Thanks a lot!!
DK Yoo’s seminar will create or solidify a foundation of true strength and power. He goes over some unique novel view points on movement and how to generate and amplify the power of your strikes. It is interactive and intellectually stimulating as a active fighter and martial artist for the past 10 years. It was true an honor to train with and meet DK Yoo. Hopefully there is a way for me to train with him again in the future and learn more.
Hi Master DK Yoo & team, Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the workshop in Singapore. I found out about Master Yoo, and WCS via Youtube, so was curious to investigate and see things in real life for myself. Certainly Master DK Yoo’s speed and techniques are very unique, and valuable to anyone interested in martial arts. Very happy I attended the workshop, and I will be practicing how to “relax” so I can improve my speed. I found the meditation very helpful, and felt very relaxed. Even when I came home my wife noticed the difference 🙂

Master DK Yoo is truly a one of a kind. A great humble person, always open to questions and always willing to help. His techniques are truly masterful and along with his power and speed. His philosophies about meditation and extremely deep teachings can and should be incorporated into daily life. Before attending his seminar, I always knew he was fast and powerful, but I could never know to what extent. After asking him to demonstrate a taste of his abilities, in which he agreed to use 30% of his power, my eyes were truly open. 30% of his power felt like getting hit by a car in the chest! To fully understand what Master DK Yoo is capable of, one absolutely must attend his seminars!
Great Seminar! Instructions are clear and we can ask questions at any time. Master Yoo and assistance are friendly and holds nothing back in his teaching. The techniques learning can incorporate into any form of martial arts or self defence systems. It’s the combat system and philosophy. The philosophical part is actually more important.
I highly recommend attending a WCS-event – the staff is friendly, everything is well organized and DK Yoo is just an amazing trainer. For me some of the sections he taught were definitely eye-openers in my own personal martial way.

Master DK Yoo has truly mastered how to teach the art of movement. He taught me how to truly use the ground as the true source of my power, in a way I would never have been able to figure out. My expectations were to learn how to punch and kick but he taught much more than that. Meditation and true focus of the mind in collaboration with the ground forces that are available to us make for a very powerful martial arts experience. A true martial artist among men and women. DK YOO has wonderful meditation practices. He understands that you must relax more than anything. Meditation is almost synonymous with food. (For me anyway) You must have your balance. The Tao. Keep one foot in chaos and the other in harmony.
Hi, my name is Florin Gum, I’m from Germany and I attended Dk Yoo’s WCS seminar in April in Cologne.
The seminar was a great experience! I learned a lot about the masters movement and the basics of his material art. Watching Dk Yoo’s speed and energy with my own eyes really motivated me to keep on training! I am happy to use the lessons we learned in my own martial art training. I definitely will go to the next seminar in Poland and I’m looking forward to visit master Yoo one time in his Dojo in South Korea.To everyone who thinks about attending to the next seminar, I can only say:Do it, it’s worth it!
I found the Master DK seminar very interesting. Master DK has developed a very powerful, scientific approach to flow state and kinetics. I would recommend to anyone trying to improve their flow, speed and explosive power!
It was great to attend Master DK Yoo’s NYC seminar. I can testify that after training in Martial Arts basically all of my life there’s always many more things to learn as it is with the journey to living life. The mechanics, meditation and fluid motions it’s like DK Yoo takes the technique and breaks it down to the minute nucleus to fully explain how and why it’s supposed to be executed in that way. And now to see that we’ve got something else in common with music production I’m even more of an admirer . I’m recently coming to the conclusion that many years of practicing music theory gives me an advantage when I spar not having one rhythm but keeping the motions elusive. It was just a natural thing for me but now matching my training with my music theory executing punches and combinations with notes, half notes and etc will be a new interesting path for me.

The Seminar was great. Master DK taught us a lot of body mechanics and how you can move your whole body to make your movements much faster, stronger and even better. Ein sehr gutes Seminar an dem ich Teilnehmen durfte. Jeder sollte mal ein Seminar besuchen um sich sein eigenes Bild darüber zu machen. Ich selber fand es echt Klasse und konnte sehr viel mit nehmen auf meinem Weg. Hoffe demnächst wieder dabei zu sein.
Like many people, I discovered Master DK YOO’s prowess by YouTube. Being a martial arts praticioner since several years now, I didn’t want to stay on this one impression, so I decided to participate at the seminar at Dijon (May 2017). Over there, I met a fabulous person, really passionate by martial arts, who understands its meaning and profound philosophy, but especially a man who wants to share his knowledge and experiences with others.
DK YOO is a true Master, in the word’s most noble sense. And, it’s with great pleasure that I go to his seminars as much as possible.
